Boys Athletic Coordinator

Matt Williams

Head Football & Pole Vault Coach

​

Coach Williams enters his 15th year of coaching and teaching. This will be his 3rd year at AMCMS as the Boys Athletic Coordinator. Before coming to AMCMS he spent 4 years at The Woodlands High School 9th Grade Campus coaching Running Backs & Inside Linebackers and was the Boys JV Soccer Coach. Coach Williams also coached at Marble Falls from 2014-2016 where he coached Corners, Offensive Line, and was the school's Pole Vault coach. From 2008-2014, Coach Williams was at McCullough Junior High in The Woodlands where he coached Football & Track. 

 

Coach Williams graduated from Graham High School and attended Texas A&M University where he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. 

 

Coach Williams has been married to his wife Abbey for 2 years and they have two children Daphne (3) and Tessa (1 mos).

Eric Coker

Eric Coker- Basketball & Track
Coach Coker has been a part of the College Station community for the last 45 years. He started as a coach for over 20 years. During that time he has worked in Navasota, Bryan, and College Station. Currently, he has worked at A&M Consolidated Middle School for the last 8 years as a teacher and coach.

Coach Coker graduated from A&M Consolidated High School in 1992 attended Blinn then went on to A&M. He completed his Bachelor of Science with a degree in Kinesiology in 1999. Coach Coker went on to earn his Masters of Educational Administration from Sam Houston University in 2012.


Coach Coker has been Married to his lovely wife Dr. Karen Coker for 17 years they have 5 children and 1 grandson.

Chris Taylor

Football

Coach Taylor enters into his 8th year of coaching and his 6th year coaching in the district and here at AMCMS. Before coming to Bobcat country he coached various youth football teams around the county. Coach Taylor is the proud CEO and Head Coach of Brazos Valley World Class Sprinters Youth Track Club here in the county where he has served for 5 years. 

 

Coach Taylor graduated from James Earl Rudder High School and attended Houston-Tillotoson University.

Charles Matzig

Boys Athletics Coach

Cross-Country

Coach Matzig enters his 17th year of coaching and teaching. This will be his 10th year at AMCMS. Before coming to AMCMS he spent time teaching and coaching at Oakwood Intermediate and Navasota Junior High and A&M Consolidated High School. 

 

Coach Matzig graduated from Texas A&M University where he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and Lamar University where he earned a Masters degree in Educational Administration.

 

Coach Matzig has been married to his wife Abbey for 14 years and they have four children Julie (13) Landon (11), Luke (11), and Nolan (8).

Chandler Patterson

Boys Athletics Coach

Football, Basketball, & Track

 

Coach Patterson returns for his second year of coaching at AMCMS. He coaches Football, Basketball, and Track. 

 

Coach Patterson graduated from Flour Bluff high school in Corpus Christi then attended Texas A&M University at Corpus Christi where he got his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis on Sports management. He also obtained a minor in business. 

 

From 2015-2021 Coach Patterson was a member of the Texas Army National Guard where he served as a Corporal. He was activated for Hurricane Harvey and Covid Relief efforts.

TJ Wolski

Coach Wolski enters his fifth year of coaching and is happy to be back at AMCMS but now as a full time teacher and coach. He was here for two years in 2017 and 2018 as a GA while going to Blinn College. He has been a volunteer coach at UNT these past few years under Phil Bennett and Matt Passwaters as well as helped with equipment with Mike Villa. He graduated from the University of North Texas this past May with his Bachelor of Arts in History and a Minor in Kinesiology. He graduated from Rouse High School in 2016.

Anthony Moltz

Boys Athletics Coach

Football, Basketball, & Track

Coach Moltz enters his first year of teaching and coaching at AMCMS. A graduate of Texas A&M University with a degree in Industrial Engineering  and commissioned Officer of the United States Army. Coach Moltz completed his assignment on active duty and pursued his dream to coach our youth. Coach Moltz joins our staff with a multitude of life experiences and a passion for teaching. Coach Moltz will coach football, basketball, and track for the 22’-23’ school year.
